Buying or selling a home is often the largest single monetary transaction we perform during the course of our entire lives. I can well understand that sometimes this step can seem 100 yards long, if not over the horizon.

Having bought, rented, and sold properties successfully for approximately 30 years, I am now in the process of retiring from the business. I have recently sold Bill Peterson, of Sterling Resource Group, LLC, four of my investment properties:  two were outright cash sales, while on the other two I chose to take back a second mortgage.
